Description: MMA Institute is pleased to announce that Professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Fighter and North American Allied Fight Series (NAAFS) Welterweight Champion, Kyle “The Alley Cat” Baker, is scheduled to fight in Dubai for Cage Warriors Fighting Championships (CWFC) on March 16th, 2012. HARRISONBURG, Virginia (March 7th, 2012 ) – Professional MMA fighter Kyle “The Alley Cat” Baker (12-5), co-founder of MMA Institute of Harrisonburg, and NAAFS Welterweight Champion, is the latest addition to the CWFC Fight Card, which will take place at the Dubai World Trade Center in the United Arab Emirates. Baker will be fighting his first Middleweight bout (185 lbs.) against UFC veteran Lucio Linhares (16-7-0). Baker's previous bouts have been fought at the Lightweight (155 lbs.) and Welterweight (170 lbs.) divisions. In Dubai, Baker will be filling in as a replacement for an injured fighter. Kyle Baker’s notable wins include victories over Drew Fickett (UFC Veteran), Chad Reiner (UFC Veteran), Binky Jones (Bellator Fighting Championships Veteran), LaVon Maynard (Bellator Fighting Championships Veteran), James Warfield (Shine Fights 2010 Pay-Per-View Lightweight Gran Prix), and Nick Duell (Former NAAFS Welterweight Champion). Since winning the NAAFS Welterweight Title, several MMA publications have predicted that Baker will soon be debuting in a major nationally televised promotion.
