Description: MMA Institute is pleased to announce that Professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Fighter Kyle “The Alley Cat” Baker defeats Nick Duell to become the new North American Allied Fight Series (NAAFS) Welterweight Champion. CLEVELAND, Ohio (August 27, 2011) – Professional MMA fighter Kyle “The Alley Cat” Baker (12-5), co-founder of MMA Institute of Harrisonburg, VA recently traveled to Ohio to face title holder Nick Duell (8-2) in his third defense of the NAAFS Welterweight Title. This most recent NAAFS event “Rock N Rumble 5” was held at the Nautica Pavilion in Cleveland. Favored to win by critics, Duell’s six fight win streak came to an abrupt end as Baker caught him with a quick left hook as the southpaw attempted to land his right hook. As Baker’s strike landed, Duell spun 360° to land belly down at Baker’s feet. Kyle Baker’s notable wins include victories over Drew Fickett (UFC Veteran), Chad Reiner (UFC Veteran), Binky Jones (Bellator Fighting Championships Veteran), LaVon Maynard (Bellator Fighting Championships Veteran), and James Warfield (Shine Fights 2010 Pay-Per-View Lightweight Gran Prix). Since winning the NAAFS Welterweight Title, several MMA publications have predicted that he will soon be debuting in a major nationally televised promotion. Kyle Baker’s Stats:
